Learn how to improve your relationship, resolve conflicts, and develop healthy communication and problem-solving skills.
Ya'Ron and Stacee Brown have built a strong marital foundation over the past 15 years and strive to help other couples build the same. This doesn’t mean that they are perfect or strive to be; their pursuit is to continue to learn how to strengthen their marriage and be an example of how working on your relationship daily can continue to improve your relationship.
As parents, partners, and business owners, they understand the battles and their impact on their lives and relationships. Ya’Ron and Stacee have and continue to go through the fire that can exist in relationships. They have spent years honing their skills in working relationally with each other, couples and families. Relationships are something that people have to attend to constantly, and the bitter pill is that the work will never be done; it just gets a little easier once we learn the skills we need to assist ourselves. It is constant work, learning and practicing, new and exciting skills to help succeed relationally. Ya'Ron and Stacee have successfully helped numerous couples reach their desired relational balance; however, it does not come without work. Their message remains quite simple: "We can assist in helping you become more relational, but we are not the solution. As the couple, you are the solution - you just need to learn how to use the tools effectively."
Often, couples desire to love and be loved in their relationship. Unfortunately, we can sometimes get in the way of allowing that to happen or unknowingly sabotaging the very thing we want most. In our couples therapy, we help couples understand one another by overcoming their shame/guilt and self-righteousness and developing boundaries or a willingness to let their partner in. We work to teach you what to do when you get triggered, and you want to fight or retreat. We show you how to repair and grow the relationship you desire while growing deeper in love. Our goal is to provide couples the necessary tools to work through their challenges, develop a solid sense of self and maintain a cohesive subsystem/family structure.
Over the years, Ya'Ron and Stacee have found that there is no better approach to working with couples than as a couple. They use a dynamic approach rooted in relational life therapy to enhance the lives of the couples they connect with. Ya'Ron and Stacee provide couples with resources and skills to foster healthy and satisfying relationships, improve communication and intimacy, and enhance overall relationship satisfaction.

Communication is a cornerstone of healthy relationships. Couple therapy can provide tools and techniques to improve communication between partners, including active listening, expressing feelings and needs, and resolving conflicts in a constructive manner. This can lead to better understanding and connection between partners.
Emotional intimacy is crucial for building and maintaining a strong bond between partners. Couple therapy can help couples deepen their emotional intimacy by promoting emotional awareness, vulnerability, and empathy towards each other. This can lead to increased trust, closeness, and a more satisfying emotional connection.
Relationships inevitably face challenges and conflicts. Couple therapy can help partners develop effective problem-solving skills to tackle issues such as financial disagreements, parenting conflicts, and differences in values or priorities. Learning to navigate and resolve problems together can strengthen the relationship and build resilience.
Couple therapy can help individuals gain insights into their own thoughts, feelings, and behaviors within the relationship. This increased self-awareness can lead to personal growth, improved self-regulation, and a better understanding of how their behavior impacts the relationship. It can also help individuals recognize and change unhelpful patterns or dynamics in the relationship.
Couple therapy is not only for couples in crisis, but it can also be beneficial as a preventive measure. Regular couple therapy sessions can help partners proactively address minor issues or potential sources of conflict before they escalate into more significant problems. This can help maintain a healthy and fulfilling relationship.
Major life transitions such as marriage, parenthood, career changes, or relocation can impact a relationship. Couple therapy can provide support and guidance during these transitions, helping partners navigate the changes and adjust to new roles and responsibilities in a healthy and positive way.
Couple therapy can provide insight into the dynamics and patterns that may be contributing to relationship challenges. This can include exploring issues such as power imbalances, communication styles, attachment styles, and family of origin influences. Understanding these dynamics can help partners develop healthier ways of relating to each other.
A healthy and fulfilling romantic relationship can have a positive impact on overall well-being. Couple therapy can promote emotional, mental, and relational well-being by helping partners build a stronger and more satisfying relationship. This can lead to increased happiness, life satisfaction, and improved mental health.
