Learn how to improve your relationship, resolve conflicts, and develop healthy communication and problem-solving skills.
With over 15 years of marriage, we have built a solid foundation grounded in dedication, growth, and authenticity. While we don’t claim to be perfect, our commitment to continually strengthening our relationship has made us a powerful example of how daily effort can lead to lasting connection and improvement in a partnership.
As parents, partners, and business owners, we deeply understand life’s challenges and pressures on relationships. We have faced and continue to practice the skills necessary to overcome the fires that can test any bond, spending years refining our skills in working relationally with each other, as well as with couples and families.
Our message is simple yet impactful: relationships require constant work, learning, and practice. While the effort never truly ends, mastering the tools provided by Relational Life Therapy (RLT) can make the journey smoother and more rewarding. RLT’s transformative practices emphasize breaking through barriers like shame, blame, and self-righteousness to foster deeper connection, emotional honesty, and relational balance. We specialize in helping couples identify dysfunctional patterns, repair ruptures, and establish healthier, more sustainable dynamics.
Through our experience and guidance, we've helped numerous couples achieve their desired relational balance—not by being the solution but by empowering couples to become their own solution. By integrating RLT principles into our approach, we provide couples with practical tools to navigate triggers, build effective communication, and deepen intimacy.
We are passionate about teaching the skills necessary for relational success and showing others how to use them effectively. We welcome you to begin the journey of embracing the work of building stronger, healthier relationships through the proven methods of Relational Life Therapy.
Often, couples deeply desire to love and be loved within their relationship. However, relational patterns, past wounds, or unconscious behaviors can sometimes block the very connection they seek. In our couples therapy, we incorporate Relational Life Therapy (RLT) practices to help partners move beyond shame, guilt, and self-righteousness, fostering understanding and compassion. We guide couples in developing healthy boundaries and creating a willingness to truly let one another in.
Using RLT, we teach you how to navigate moments when you feel triggered and instinctively want to fight or withdraw. Our work focuses on showing you how to repair and rebuild connection, fostering deeper love and resilience in your relationship. Our goal is to equip you with the tools to face challenges together, develop a strong sense of self, and maintain a cohesive and supportive family system.
Over the years, we have found that working as a couple with couples provides a unique and impactful dynamic. Our approach, grounded in Relational Life Therapy, is designed to enhance the lives of the couples they engage with. We offer resources and practical skills to help couples cultivate healthier, more fulfilling relationships, improve communication and intimacy, and deepen overall relationship satisfaction.
We are here to help you achieve your relational goals. We virtually see couples biweekly on Mondays for 90 minutes each session. Your investment is $350 per session.
Communication is a cornerstone of healthy relationships. Couples therapy can provide tools and techniques to improve communication between partners, including active listening, expressing feelings and needs, and resolving conflicts in a constructive manner. This can lead to better understanding and connection between partners.
Emotional intimacy is crucial for building and maintaining a strong bond between partners. Couples therapy can help couples deepen their emotional intimacy by promoting emotional awareness, vulnerability, and empathy towards each other. This can lead to increased trust, closeness, and a more satisfying emotional connection.
Relationships inevitably face challenges and conflicts. Couples therapy can help partners develop effective problem-solving skills to tackle issues such as financial disagreements, parenting conflicts, and differences in values or priorities. Learning to navigate and resolve problems together can strengthen the relationship and build resilience.
Couples therapy can help individuals gain insights into their own thoughts, feelings, and behaviors within the relationship. This increased self-awareness can lead to personal growth, improved self-regulation, and a better understanding of how their behavior impacts the relationship. It can also help individuals recognize and change unhelpful patterns or dynamics in the relationship.
Couples therapy is not only for couples in crisis, but it can also be beneficial as a preventive measure. Regular couple therapy sessions can help partners proactively address minor issues or potential sources of conflict before they escalate into more significant problems. This can help maintain a healthy and fulfilling relationship.
Major life transitions such as marriage, parenthood, career changes, or relocation can impact a relationship. Couples therapy can provide support and guidance during these transitions, helping partners navigate the changes and adjust to new roles and responsibilities in a healthy and positive way.
Couples therapy can provide insight into the dynamics and patterns that may be contributing to relationship challenges. This can include exploring issues such as power imbalances, communication styles, attachment styles, and family of origin influences. Understanding these dynamics can help partners develop healthier ways of relating to each other.
A healthy and fulfilling romantic relationship can have a positive impact on overall well-being. Couples therapy can promote emotional, mental, and relational well-being by helping partners build a stronger and more satisfying relationship. This can lead to increased happiness, life satisfaction, and improved mental health.
